With the countdown till Christmas well under way you may be rushing to get your holiday shopping done, well if you’re like me anyway and no matter how much time you spend planning it always ends up being a disorganised last-minute dash to the shops or Amazon. This can be particularly hard when you’re lacking inspiration, so to make the holiday season easier on you I have put together a list of gifts that are perfect to fill a stocking, or even to give as a present to your loved ones.
Candles
This is a gift that is guaranteed to be a success, as who doesn’t love a candle? Besides, there are so many different scents that there is bound to be one for your friend. They are also perfect for a girly pamper evening or just to set the mood whilst you’re working. There are also so many different price points for candles, so if you are a bit tight on money this is perfect. I have linked below a candle from Marks and Spencer which stood out to me as when it is lit the whole candle actually lights up like fairy lights. This is a bit of a twist on your standard vanilla candle which is ideal if you’re looking for something a bit more special
Fluffy socks
This is a very simple gift which I am sure the recipient will appreciate as fuzzy socks scream winter and cosy to me. Also, fluffy socks tend to wear down over time, so it is a useful present to give someone who may not necessarily rebuy them for themselves if they already own a run-down pair. You could even spice it up with a festive pair to make it a bit different; I have linked a pair below, but they are pretty much available everywhere, I have even seen them in supermarkets before.
Pyjamas
I love a comfy cosy pyjama set and again this isn’t something that I wouldn’t necessarily restock myself, which makes it perfect to give to someone else. Again, you could invest in a Christmassy tartan matching set or a nightdress, there are so many options!
Loungewear
This may be similar to pyjamas but trust me they are very different! Loungewear is for those chill days where you want to get dressed but also be comfy. I also love it as you can wear it out of the house, whereas, if you were to wear your pyjamas outside you might get a few odd looks in the supermarket. Also, you can dress up loungewear to make it look it look smart, which is most easily done by wearing a matching set or adding accessories such as jewellery and a bag. This makes you look more put together without even having to try so it’s a must in any stocking!

Lipstick
This is for my beauty lovers out there. I have linked below the Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk, as I think it is the perfect nude pink colour which would look great on any skin tone, so you don’t have to worry about matching it to their colour shade. This particular lipstick is slightly more expensive than your average high-street gloss; however, I think it is worth it as this tends to be my go-to lipstick that I reach for everyday when doing a natural makeup look. I also think that if you have the budget for it it’s nice to include one product that’s a bit more luxurious and share with someone the Christmas spirit.
Skincare
I love skincare so would personally be very excited to receive anything in this genre but even if your friend is just getting into it, I think gifting them a few serums is perfect. I would recommend The Ordinary, as their serums are highly affordable but also effective, whether it be helping to remove acne scarring or moisturise your skin. I have particularly liked their Niacinamide serum to remove marks left by blemishes and their Hyaluronic acid serum which draws in moisture from the air. The products I have linked below are very high in demand at the minute but if you are able to find them on the internet, I am sure it would be very much appreciated, as they may have been trying to grab them for themselves making it the perfect surprise.

Haircare
I think for any girl whether they have bleached or natural hair, it’s very important to take care of your hair and nourish it. Olaplex is a very well-known brand for giving their customers a luxurious at home salon experience, making it the perfect treat for this Christmas. I have also included my favourite hair mask, which is very affordable so if you can’t splash out on Olaplex this is equally as effective at leaving my hair feeling silky soft.
Bath Bombs
This is for all those bath lovers out there, which I know may only be a few of us. Since coming back from university I have thoroughly missed my Sunday baths and am now looking forward to treating myself to some Lush bath bombs, as this is my favourite shop. Their bath stuff not only smells amazing but their cute designs can leave your bath in a rainbow colour. Now I know this is not everyone’s cup of tea, but they do also have some more neutral-coloured products on their site. Or if you know your friend’s not a bath person, (which I find truly shocking) Lush also has a variety of shower products, which are a bit more special than your bog-standard supermarket products.
And of course, no stocking is complete without a satsuma!
These are all part of my favourites, which I hope has given you a few suggestions on how you could treat your loved ones this Christmas, and if you’re reading this mum here are a few ideas!
