So I may have gone a bit crazy during quarantine and money which may have been saved for what now is an imaginary holiday may have disappeared from the bank, but let’s not get into that. Since I am bored and not much else is going on, I have decided to take on the strenuous task (both mentally and physically exhausting) of restyling my wardrobe. So here are a few lounge pieces I picked up to wear around the house at this time and a few spring items to prepare for when I can actually venture outside beside my one exercise of the day. One important thing before I jump in is that I wear a UK size 10 in everything unless mentioned otherwise.
Comfy & snug
This outfit is from Pretty Little Thing and is my favourite right now to lounge about in. I love these joggers not only because they stand out against the black and grey ones that litter my wardrobe, but they somehow manage to appear baggy yet flattering on the waist as there is a drawstring which you can adjust to how you want. They are perfect for a day to spend in bed or run errands in as the fleece inside makes them super comfy. I often reach for this graphic t shirt which details one of my favourite films ‘The Devil Wears Prada’ and it is so soft. I purchased this in a large so it would look perfect under cycling shorts giving it that sporty yet casual look.
Spring ready
This cute gingham print from Pretty Little Thing gives me spring vibes all over. The crop top has frilly sleeves giving it that feminine edge and you can tie the front up into a bow, depending on the amount of cleavage you want on show. I decided to style it with a black pair of mom jeans from Zara and a belt from Primark.

Night out set
This plunge bralette is again from Pretty Little Thing, which as you can tell I love and is perfect for a night out with the girls. The slinky material can be adjusted depending on where you tie it up, and even though it may not be a lot of fabric it does offer enough support so you can dance all night long. I paired it with this simple black mini skirt from Missguided, which I like as it is made out of a really stretchy material that I cannot wait to wear on a date and not feel uncomfortable afterwards from the bloating, so it’s a win from me.
Casual & cosy
This outfit is also from Pretty Little Thing and is what I see as the perfect errand look since it’s stylish but most importantly comfortable. When I ordered this long sleeve crop top I imagined it to be super tight fitting; however, upon trying on the top it was actually soft and loose but still slim fitting. After wearing this top I have decided that I need to go back and purchase it in every colour they have. These joggers are the same ones I mentioned earlier, so I won’t go into any details.
Chic fleek
This stylish crop top is from Pretty Little Thing and details the coverings of a newspaper. This is something I hadn’t come across before which is why when I saw it on the website I immediately knew I had to buy it. I would recommend wearing a strapless bra with it due to the cut out but that does not bother me. I again styled it with my Zara jeans and the same belt from earlier.
Laid-back 101
These comfy shorts from Pretty Little Thing are perfect for that basketball look, and not only that but they are essentially joggers cut in half with fleece inside. I got these in a UK 12 so they would look baggy; however, they are still flattering as the waistband is elasticated. I paired this with a plain black t shirt as I love an all black outfit.
Gingham galore
I don’t know if you can tell but gingham is a print I have fallen in love with this spring and these straight leg trousers from ASOS show all that I adore in a pant: the design is cute that comes with a belt in the same print. They are also super stretchy, which means they are easy to wear for whatever you are doing that day, as there is nothing worse than a skin-tight pair of trousers where you can’t even bend your knees. When styling these trousers, I would recommend a plain coloured top so the print doesn’t become overwhelming, the one I am wearing above is from Topshop.

Cute in white
This white top from Pretty Little Thing is a stylish twist on a basic strapless top, as the ruching detail makes it stands out. The length of the top is adjustable making it ideal depending on what length you want it to be or how much ruching you want. I paired it with the same black skirt from Missguided.
Sports casual
These energy seamless sports shorts from Gymshark in the size medium are the perfect length, as I have often found other shorts to not fully cover my bottom. They are just plain black, as everyone needs a basic; however, the small hole design on each side jazzes it up a bit. On top of this they are seamless and just fit like a dream, making them my top staple shorts either for working out or wearing underneath baggy tees. I paired this with the Gymshark energy seamless sports bra in medium.

Sweet in grey
These grey shorts from Tala in the size medium are perfect for when you want a bit more coverage; however, they still appear flattering on your figure, with subtle contouring to give you that perfect peach you didn’t know you had. Not only do they make you look slimmer as they are compressing but they are made out of recycled materials. I could not recommend this brand further and I hope you guys check it out as they are fully sustainable, and an extra bonus you can plant their tags to grow an outside plant. Again, I paired this with the Gymshark energy seamless sports bra in medium, just in a different colour.
