After constantly walking around the house in pjs and greasy hair over the last couple of weeks, I decided that I needed a change. Understandably, I assume quite a few of us have fallen into this habit, I hope, as it seems pointless to wear a full face of makeup and dress up in a cute outfit to lounge about in the house all day. However, as my appearance has dramatically gone downhill, I can’t lie it has started to affect my mental health a bit, as no one likes to look in the mirror and be greeted with a group of pimples. So, this week I decided to put more effort into my appearance whilst still being comfy, as no one likes to chill in skin tight jeans. Keep reading to find out what I wore throughout the week.
Monday
Admittedly, this look is similar to what I was wearing last week, as it is essentially a pair of joggers and a cute top. Through dressing the grey joggers from Pretty Little Thing with a bright crop top (mine is a yellow print from Urban Outfitters that I cropped myself, unfortunately, I could not find it online so grab your favourite) I actually think it makes the joggers look slightly smarter than what I wore with them last week, which was a massive oversized t-shirt that made me look like a sloth. Although, at the end of the day they are still joggers so not much can be done about how they look, but for me the cosiness outweighs this.
Tuesday
For Tuesday’s outfit I decided to try and make myself look slightly more fashionable and venture out from the joggers with black culottes. These I have had for years from New Look and I love them for when I want to be comfortable but not be seen in joggers. I wanted to style them with my favourite denim jacket from Princess Polly, which I have mentioned in another post. To go with the all black look, I chose a bright blue t shirt to give the outfit a pop of colour and my favourite croc hiker boots, which are from Matalan to give the look an edge.
T-shirt was from a volunteering trip so could not link.
Wednesday
Wednesday’s look is more of a sporty one: I went basic with an oversized pink tee, which admittedly is my boyfriend’s, and a pair of black leggings. This was probably the comfiest outfit that I wore throughout the week, as I chose to have a chill day by watching Netflix and reading a book. I finished the outfit off with my black Nike trainers to match the leggings and a pair of white Kappa socks, which I recently purchased and have enjoyed styling over leggings for that gym look.

Thursday
This is probably my favourite outfit that I wore this week, as I just think it’s cool with the white and blue stripy mum jeans from Primark. I regularly reach for these in the spring and summer months, as I love to mix up patterns and again, they are comfortable to wear as they are wide leg. As I thought they were quite bold I chose to tone it down for the top, opting for a grey crop top from Asos, since I wanted the trousers to be the main focus of the look. And again, I styled it with my black denim jacket and hiker boots, as they are such staples.

Friday
On Friday my outfit consisted of these khaki cargo pants from Pretty Little Thing with a red crop top from Urban Outfitters. I think this outfit is super cute and would be perfect to chill outside in summer. To finish it off I paired it with my Nike Airforce 1’07 trainers, as they matched the colour of the top and white kappa socks.

I decided not to take any pictures on Saturday and Sunday, as I had quite a lot of work to do and must admit spent most of the time in my pjs and dressing gown. Hope you enjoyed reading this and I will see you next week for a recipe post.
